How to prolong the shelf life of fresh mangoes?

For ripe mangoes, pop them in the fridge—uncut, they’ll stay fresh for up to a week. If you’ve already sliced them, use an airtight container to keep them from turning brown. Trust me, it keeps them looking and tasting great. Unripe mangoes need room temp to ripen up. Toss them in a paper bag or leave them in a dark spot, like your pantry. Want to speed things up? Add a banana to the bag. Check every couple of days until they’re soft and fragrant. Freezing ripe mango? Cut into cubes or slices, lay them flat in a freezer bag, and squeeze out the air. Store flat in the freezer and use within 6 months. Frozen mango is perfect for smoothies or a quick snack! Don’t forget: Unripe mangoes don’t belong in the fridge—they’ll never ripen right! #MangoTips #FruitStorage #KitchenHacks #Food #Cooking
