I don’t think I’ve seen my legs without a layer of something in years. Lotion, oil, shimmer, makeup—sometimes all at once, just to make them look like they belong in someone else’s feed. Every time I shave, I’m careful, but it’s not for me. It’s so I don’t have to flinch if someone glances down. I keep a travel-size lotion in my bag, just in case the shine fades and I start to look too much like myself. Some nights, I catch my reflection in the bathroom light—bare, uneven, a little dry—and I wonder if I’d ever let anyone see them like this. I don’t think I know how. #MirrorFatigue #BeautyBurnout #SkinStory #Beauty #Skincare
