Gudvangen looks like a screensaver: glassy water, mountains so steep they almost feel fake. I stood at the dock, phone in hand, trying to capture it. Every photo looked like a postcard, but none of them felt like me. I thought standing at the edge of the world would make my problems shrink. Instead, the silence just made them louder. The tour groups moved on, the boats came and went, and I realized I was waiting for something to click—some sense of awe, or peace, or at least belonging. It never did.
