I work hard and pay taxes. Why should I fund others’ groceries?

People on snap also work just don’t make enough $ wake the hell up

when you drive to the grocery store in my busted ride I got to fix and can't by steak or lobster but the person in front has a grocery cart full of both items and it cashier says that will be $468 cash or card and they pull out the EBT card then drive off in a new BMW ... anyone else ever witness such things

I am 73 years old and having a hard time myself - I dont like Snap people with fake hair, nails, driving new cars etc-it just doesn't make sense! These people eat better than I ever had!

Charity is an individual obligation, it never should have become a government responsibility. If you want to feed the hungry, open your wallet and donate to a food bank or a shelter, don’t try to satisfy your obligation by demanding others to do so through compelled taxation and government programs.

In England, I think they cap assistance at two eligible children. So once you have two kids, those are the only two that get assistance. Every baby after that is totally on you. May be wrong, but I think that's the way they do it.

My AMERICAN Privilege Card. Over 60 years old but in mint condition. Never been used. Reason for selling: It hasn't done any thing for me! No free college, no free food, no free housing, no free anything. I've had to go to work every day of my life while paying a boatload of taxes to carry those who chose not to work . If interested, I prefer cash but willing to do an even trade for a Victim Card which seems much more widely accepted and comes with countless benefits. If your EBT card isn't working I just want you to know, that's what it's like for the rest of us when we run out if money we earned.
