My Day at Alameda County Fairgrounds 🎡🐷🚂
Hey, everyone! 🌟 When our son and his crew came to visit from Denver, we had just one day to make it memorable. Our choice? The Alameda County Fair, a quick drive away. 🚗💨
🎠 Kids' Joyride: The little ones were all about the thrilling rides. Spent most of the day looping and swooping, making me dizzy just watching! 🤪
🐖 Pig Races & Quilts: Dragged my hubby away from the rides for some good ol' pig racing and intricate quilts. Those little oinkers stole the show! 🐽💨
🚂 Model Railroad Magic: All aboard the nostalgia train! Spent quality time at the model railroad display, reminiscing about our family train sets and the joy of watching those tiny locomotives go round and round. 🚂💨
🇺🇸 All-American Vibes: It was the epitome of an all-American, down-home, and fun-filled experience. Can't wait for next year's piggy spectacle! 🐷🌟
First County Fair for Me! 👩🌾 Someone handed us passes, parking included. Beautiful setting, but beat the heat and crowds! Skipped a few things, but the crafts building had cool exhibits. And oh, the hamburgers were top-notch! 🍔🎨
Spotless Wonderland 🌈: What sets this place apart? Immaculate cleanliness! Mostly paved, and now with a tram that glides across the fairgrounds. It just FEELS better than the rest. 👌
🍴 Foodie Heaven: Tons of new eats this year, gadgets galore. Even caught a seminar on horse racing. Arts, crafts, and 4H expos everywhere. And the added bonus – FREE senior admission every Friday. 🆓👵
