Ever catch yourself raiding the fridge, only to realize you’re not even hungry? That used to be me—snacking out of boredom or stress, not actual hunger. Here’s what’s helped me tell the difference: 💡 Do a quick self-scan: Is your stomach actually growling, or are you just bored or stressed? If you wouldn’t eat an apple, it’s probably not real hunger. 📌 Rate your hunger from 1-10 before eating. If you’re at a 3 or 4, grab a snack. If it’s lower, try waiting it out. ✅ Drink water first! Thirst can totally trick you into thinking you’re hungry. ⚠️ Distract yourself for 10-15 minutes—take a walk, call a friend, or just move to another room.
