When Meghan shared funny story about Prince Philip
“I remember so vividly the first Christmas at Sandringham,” Meghan said.
“I was set next to Harry’s grandfather. And I just thought it was so wonderful. We chatted and it was great. I talked about this and that.”
Laughing at the memory, she recalled Harry later telling her, “You had his bad ear—he couldn’t hear anything.” Meghan smiled and added, “Well, I thought it went very well.”
Reflecting further, she shared how magical the holiday felt.
In the documentary, Meghan also recalled telling the story to her mother, Doria Ragland. “Oh my gosh, it is amazing… It’s just like a big family, like I always wanted. There was this constant movement and energy and fun.”
The documentary also delves into more personal territory, including Meghan’s strained relationship with her father, Thomas Markle.
She revealed that she found out about his decision not to attend her wedding through media reports and accused him of dishonesty about his dealings with the press. “I heard he took money to give photos to the British media,” she said.
Prince Harry expressed remorse over the situation, saying, “If Meghan hadn’t married me, she would still have her dad.”
The documentary also introduces Ashleigh Hale, Meghan’s niece and daughter of her half-sister Samantha Markle.
Despite their close relationship, Ashleigh was not invited to the royal wedding—a decision influenced by her mother’s actions, according to Meghan.
