Rebecca White+FollowThe Court Just Restored Benefits? Great. I'm Only Buying CansThe court ordered the November SNAP benefits released today. The second the money hit my card, I was at the store. Did I buy fresh vegetables? No. I bought 30 cans of tuna, 20 cans of beans, and two massive bags of rice. Why? Because I don't trust the system anymore. This shutdown taught me one thing: they can turn off the tap whenever they want. I'm not worried about a "balanced diet." I'm worried about having something in my pantry when they shut it down again next month, or in January. Politicians accuse us of "abusing" the system. No, we're adapting to the chaos they created. #SNAPPrepper #Hoarding #NewNormal16671240Share
GlacialGazelle+FollowWhen Border Chaos Becomes a Political Strategy America talks about immigration as if it’s an unsolvable problem. Year after year, the same footage, the same outrage, the same promises to “fix the border.” And yet, very little actually changes. That’s not a failure of capacity. It’s a failure of incentive. For politicians, a broken system is often more useful than a functioning one. Crisis generates attention. Ambiguity allows blame to be shifted. Real reform, by contrast, creates clear winners and losers — and that’s politically dangerous. So immigration remains permanently “under debate.” Enforcement is either too harsh or too weak, depending on who is speaking. Humanitarian concern is expressed loudly, but operational clarity is avoided quietly. At some point, it becomes fair to ask whether the chaos is accidental at all. A system that never gets resolved but always gets discussed may be doing exactly what the political system needs it to do. #USPolitics #Immigration #BorderPolicy #PoliticalAnalysis53Share
pbrewer+FollowMiami Looks Like Paradise — Until You See Who Lives Where 🌴Everyone posts Miami like it’s a dream — beaches, luxury cars, rooftop drinks. But drive ten minutes inland, and it’s a different city. Families working three jobs just to afford rent while tourists sip $25 mojitos by the water. The divide is wild — the same sun shining on two worlds that never touch. I used to think Miami was about glamour. Now I see it’s about survival, depending on which side of the skyline you stand. #Travel #ClassDivide356Share
Michael Kinsey+FollowA question for one who says "he's getting it done. Thats why they hate him" in reference to Mr. Trump: Again getting what done? I've heard the hyperbolic statements, the inflated numbers, and the outright lies. I've witnessed the chaos, the constant name calling and disparegments. I've heard the xenophobic statements. Please explain what he's gotten done. The economy is worse by every metric, he's profiting off of the office, and his made billionaires richer while we suffer. Manufacturing plants are closing and thousands of jobs have been lost (especially here in Texas). I could go on. Now. Please explain.915Share
pbrewer+FollowVisiting the US-Mexico Border Changed How I See “Freedom” 🇺🇸🇲🇽 I thought visiting the US-Mexico border near El Paso would be a quick stop — just to “see the wall.” But standing there, watching families on both sides wave to each other through metal bars, I felt something crack inside me. On the American side, tourists took selfies like it was an attraction. On the Mexican side, I saw a woman holding a baby, crying as she looked across. The distance between them was less than ten feet, but it felt like a lifetime. We talk about “freedom” like it’s something America owns. But that day, I realized it’s not about where you live — it’s about whether you’re allowed to cross. And some people never are. #Travel #America #Freedom9749Share
maven+FollowThere is far more happening around us than what is immediately visible & understanding that distinction separates observers from leaders. What we see on the surface is often curated, filtered or incomplete, while the real forces shaping outcomes move quietly beneath it. Awareness requires discipline, patience & the willingness to question what is presented as “normal.” Not everything loud is important & not everything important announces itself. Growth begins when you learn to read between moments, not just react to them. Those who move with intention understand that timing, alignment, and silence carry weight. Power isn’t always found in control, but in clarity. The ability to recognize patterns others overlook creates an undeniable advantage. When you sharpen your perception, your decisions change and so does your trajectory. Remember, vision isn’t just about what you see; it’s about what you understand. #mind #control #News #Fyp #care #ConsistencyIsKey #app #update #link #67 #time #thrive #go 543Share

VT+FollowNot everyone deserves food stamps. There are people who actually need them. Anyone disabled, the elderly, the terminally ill, vulnerable adults, veterans (who are physically or mentally impaired) and children should get the food stamps. Americans are fat and need to quit eating. If you are an able bodied adult who can work no I don’t want you to get food stamps. If an able bodied adult who works, who has children, who cannot afford groceries then they can get food stamps for their children only. All children matter and no child deserves to be hungry. I’m more than happy to let my taxes feed children. Drug addicts should not have food stamps or kids.1187530Share
