Boy accidentally tried to buy a "possum" at a toy store, until the cashier realized it was breathing. A little boy was wanderina the aisle he lovea most when he spotted what looked like the perfect toy: a possum. He scooped it up like it was the best find of the day and carried it proudly to the checkout, ready to pay The cashier reached for the barcode and froze. There wasn't one, because it wasn't a toy. The "possum" shifted slightly, and she noticed the tiny chest moving as it breathed She kept the boy calm, stepped back, and called local officials. A short time later, wildlife responders arrived, gentlv secured the possum, and released it back outside where it belongea The boy didn't leave upset, though. He left amazed. and with a brand-new favorite animal.

ADOPTABLE DOG: SKY Sky was found abandoned with another dog and no one came to claim them. This beautiful girl is very sweet and social. Her foster says she gets along with other dogs and does not mind the cat. Sky is treat motivated, crate trained and housebroken as well. She loves to play, roll in the grass, walks well on a leash and has excellent recall.
