250 Year Ago Today, June 10, 1775: Adams Calls for an Army, Congress Unites the Colonies, A Revolution Takes Shape On June 10, 1775, John Adams rose in the Second Continental Congress in Philadelphia and proposed that the New England militiamen besieging Boston be formally adopted into a Continental Army under centralized command. The decision would transform scattered colonial forces into the foundation of a unified war effort. After Lexington and Concord, militia units from multiple colonies converged on Boston but remained divided by separate commands, short enlistments, and locally controlled leadership. Adams pressed Congress to replace fragmented provincial authority with a single continental structure capable of sustaining war. Adams also understood that the conflict could not succeed if it remained a New England rebellion. To demonstrate continent-wide solidarity, he advocated appointing a commander-in-chief from outside New England. His choice was Virginia’s George Washington, a respected military veteran whose experience lent credibility to the cause. Washington had served during the French and Indian War and commanded the Virginia Regiment, giving him valuable military experience and colony-wide respect. Congress created the Continental Army on June 14, appointed Washington on June 15, and saw him accept on June 16. He declined a salary, requesting only expense reimbursement. Days later, colonial forces would face Britain at Bunker Hill. Delegate records show leaders balancing secrecy, logistics, and political unity while converting a regional uprising into coordinated resistance. The decision of June 10 did more than form an army, it unified thirteen colonies into a shared military cause and create one of the first institutions. Adams’s motion set a chain of events that placed Washington in command and built the force that would secure American independence. #History #USHistory #America #USA #RevolutionaryWar #Independence

Your AI Should Remember Everything You Do, But Keep It Private
Most of today’s smartest AI assistants behave like brilliant interns with amnesia. Users painstakingly re-explain their projects and customers because each conversation starts from zero, forcing them to recap their tone and preferences every single time. Screenpipe steps into the future by offering AI with perfect recall. It remembers exactly what users saw and said. Most importantly, it keeps that memory private and under each user’s control. Growing frustrations with AI that constantly loses context Screenpipe sees a growing source of frustration at the heart of modern AI usage. Knowledge work is scattered across tools and moments. What challenges are you facing today? This morning, I found inspiration in the song "Anything Is Possible" by Bethel Music, which filled me with hope. The lyrics remind us that no darkness can dim His light and no force can rival His strength. He has always been by our side, and every hardship has already been conquered. It's crucial to remember that with God, anything is possible. Think about the incredible moments in your life that showcase His unwavering faithfulness. If He has saved you before, trust that He can do it again. Reflect on how His promises have come to fruition in your life. If He has delivered you in the past, have confidence that He will do so once more. Is there any challenge too big for our God, as stated in Matthew 19:26? Can He not calm any storm, as shown in Mark 4:39? Is there a giant He cannot defeat, according to 1 John 4:4? Is there a soul beyond His reach, as mentioned in 2 Peter 3:9? Is there a mountain too high for Him to move, as noted in Matthew 17:20? Is there a path He cannot straighten, as Ecclesiastes 7:13 suggests? When God intervenes, remarkable things happen, but you must invite Him into your situation through prayer, fasting, and worship. As you go through today, don’t hesitate to remind God of His promises in Scripture and claim what is yours. Take your time and let His presence be felt in your life.

Psalm 27:14 David sings… “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation – whom shall I fear or dread? The Lord is the Refuge and Stronghold of my life – of whom shall I be afraid“? David listened when the Lord said “Seek My face, inquire for and require My presence as your vital need“… so he did. David uncovered for us what he wanted the most, to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life. He acknowledges he’s surrounded by wickedness, enemies are encamped around him. Rather than surrendering to a spirit of Fear, he offered sacrifices and shouting of joy, singing praises to the Lord. David knows his God is a God of Grace and Mercy, his God is Elohim Shama, the God Who Hears. David was ready to listen, he had a heart open to the Lord’s teaching, and ready to go in the way the Lord leads…not his own way. His heart was fertile ground for the Hope he had in the God he knew. The kind of ‘knowing’ that comes through experience. What happens when we’re faced with wickedness, enemies whose sole purpose is to destroy us… Do we surrender to a spirit of Fear? Or do we remember we’ve already surrendered to our all powerful God and choose to wait for and expect Him? In David’s total surrender to God, his only focus was being in the presence of God. He was vulnerable before the throne of grace, he desired God‘s will, not his own. David was humble, teachable and transparent. What do we do while we wait expectantly? Do we try to hide, so we’ll not be noticed? Do we try to shield ourselves from our enemies? Or do we do the next right thing and then the next, and then the next… while we wait? If we suffer from spirits of Disappointment or Discouragement, it could be we’ve given God instructions on how to help us, missing our ‘divine appointment’ for the teaching designed just for us, for ‘such a time as this…’. Can we accept the truth… His ways aren’t our ways and our ways aren’t His? We wait, expectantly, hoping… Not if He comes, but when. Lord, find us listening, intently, wa

I recently lost my job of 30+ years on 4/3. My 31st anniversary would’ve been 31 years. I hadn’t interviewed in over 30 years. I had no idea that “fake jobs” existed. I was offered a job at RLS Theraputics by Jim Monsor. Turned out that it was a scam!! I was told that I needed to get a new iPhone & an iPad Pro. Jim told me to send the iPhone to Apex Logistics so they can add the operating software & the logo. The iPad had to be ordered. Jim asked about the tracking info every day. I became suspicious that day. Nothing was received from the company. I was sent a list of things I’d be getting. I told him that I decided not to accept the job & I wanted my iPhone back immediately. As soon as I got the iPad, I returned it. Jim went offline in Microsoft Teams & I never heard from him again. I want anyone to know that if you’re accepting a new job, research the company first!! I’m going to New Mexico State Police Dept today. I have EVERY message he sent me & the emails. I’m going on 3 months & I still haven’t found a job. The fact that this “man” preyed on me just infuriates me!! I need to work. Jim Monsor assured me that his company was legit & according to ChatGPT, they have a tremendous social media presence. ChatGPT???! Are you kidding me??? You DON’T have a “tremendous social media presence”, but you’re going to after I finish with you!!!! Be careful!! I don’t want to see anyone go thru what I went thru!!!!

Waiting is one of the hardest parts of the Christian life. We often want answers now, healing now, direction now, and relief now. Yet this verse reminds us that waiting on God is not passive—it takes courage. David wrote these words during times of trouble and uncertainty. He learned that God's timing is perfect, even when it doesn't match our own. The Lord does not ask us to understand everything; He asks us to trust Him while He works behind the scenes. Notice that the verse repeats, "wait for the LORD." When God repeats something in Scripture, it is important. The waiting season may feel long, but it is never wasted. God uses it to strengthen our faith, deepen our dependence on Him, and prepare us for what lies ahead. If you are facing uncertainty, pain, family struggles, health concerns, or unanswered prayers, remember that God sees you. He has not forgotten you. The same Lord who calls you to wait also promises to be with you in the waiting.#Christian #Bible #Jesus
