Nailed my salary negotiation (even after a mistake!)

I almost didn’t negotiate, thinking I’d already gotten a good offer. But after a few interviews, I realized I could ask for more—especially after realizing my initial number was too low. I countered with an extra 2.5% to cover lost retirement vesting, and they accepted!
