Saw a phone snatching on BART😨

Riding BART near West Oakland, and someone got their phone snatched right in front of me. The guy struggled for a second, then just let it go. The thief ran off, and I just sat there, heart pounding. Looked around, and it was just me and two other women in the car. If he had tried again… would we even stand a chance? 😬 Helped the victim call 911, and cops showed up about 10 minutes later. Told them what happened, gave a description, and then asked, "What should I do if this happens again?" Their answer? "Nothing you can do." 😵‍💫 So, uh… how do I stay safe? "Pick a crowded car, maybe sit near the front." That’s it. Stay alert out there, y’all. #bart #staysafe
