Beware! Section 8 tenant with a high credit score

I rented my property to a single mom with a 780+ credit score through Section 8. Big mistake! The house was left in ruins, and I had to evict her. High credit doesn't always mean responsible tenants. Landlords, be cautious! #section8 #landlordlife #rentalwoes

I had section8 for years n I kept a job tf u talking about everyone on section8 don't sit home all day making babies. I took care of my 2 kids i worked, paid rent n utilities and didn't qualify for stamps. sounds like u need to take your problems to the government n why are u clocking your neighbors pockets. that's the problem with ppl always worrying about someone else n what they got. mad at ppl on section8 Felicia 👋 maybe u should of applied of section8 instead of hating thank u section8 that help paying my rent helped me keep a roof over me n my kids head 🙏🙌

I was a landlord for over 30 years with close to 1,000 apartments and in that time, you have surprises both good and bad out of people with good and bad credit scores and with or without section 8. My favorite thing to research was their facebook posts!

I use to clean houses for a property management company in Los Angeles after people have been evicted, I have cleaned the worst of the worst and the worst were not Section 8, they were people with college degrees who felt cleaning was beneath them !

section 8 is good for those who can't afford to pay full rent out of their checks and some tenants are good but some of the landlords are so greedy they don't screen them very good just think about the money, then act surprised when their property is mishandled.

My apartment is pretty much in the same condition when I moved in. There are just a couple of tiny holes from nails, to hang pictures. If I do get to move out one day, it’ll be simple to fill in the holes.

I don’t get how a person has a bad experience with one person and feels it applies to everyone.. isn’t that discrimination?? That’s why we have these laws.. but it’s common sense that there’s no way to get perfect tenants every time all you’re doing is denying people access to housing that need it.. which is cruel
