mets fans not thrilled with alcantara news

I said it before. and I'll say it again, the money the Mets spent on Soto, should have been spent on getting quality pitchers.....good pitching will always beats good hitting.....we won't win a world series without good pitching...maybe next year

Our pitching so far has been awesome but we haven't been playing the best teams. Nowadays you pay top dollars for pitching and they get all these different types of injuries. Years ago they seemed more durable.

2 things: 1) Mets pitching has been incredible thus far. No need for another ace when you still got Montas and Manaea coming back soon.2) Alacantara is “off limits” FOR NOW. There is absolutely no way they’re gonna hang onto him playing like they are now. They’re not getting more than 70 wins, and, as I said before, IF the Mets need him come the deadline, the return they’ll offer is gonna be too high for the Marlins to resist
