Took a spontaneous day trip to this unreal oceanside trail and I’m still thinking about it. Left San Jose at 7AM, and by 9:30 we were standing on a cliff, staring at crashing waves and sunbathing sea lions 🦭. The hike’s super beginner-friendly (1.8 miles roundtrip), but the views? Straight-up postcard level. Wildflowers everywhere, cows just vibing in the fields, and the sea breeze felt like therapy. Parking’s tiny—get there early or after 3PM. And bring a windbreaker unless you like being a human kite. Bonus: hit a cozy cheese spot on the way back for the best grilled cheese of my life. 📍Chimney Rock Trail, Point Reyes National Seashore #bayareahikes #oceanviewtrail
