Ok think about this… it’s not a mistake. I guarantee he planned this. While you’re working on your relationship and your health he’s looking around. He sees someone. He fantasizes about her. He talks to her and gives her his number. He calls and texts her and maybe sees her enough for him to sleep with her. Then hes lying to you this whole time. Omission is lying too. Lies about where he’s going to see her now he’s giving away your resources. He’s giving away your attention (resource) flirting - sexual energy reserved for you he’s giving it away to other women- resource. Time. Resource. Money in the form of phone bill to contact her and gas and food and drinks.. maybe a room all your money all your resources instead of taking you out. Then he has sex with her and after all this all his lying and manipulating. After the thrill of betraying you. Thrill of lying and you believed him. Thrill of getting away with it. Thrills of betraying you. Then he calls all this a mistake? No mistakes

It was not a mistake, it was a choice. His choice, your choice is to either leave or stay. If you stay and it happens again, which it will, you need to be prepared to move on or allow it to continue. You were sick and he chose to step out on you and 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩.

The relationship you once had is gone. You’ll never get that trust back. It will never be the same. You’ll always wonder. Always think of his phone and what he’s doing. You deserve better. Not being cheated on while you’re in recovery. First chance he got he jumped at the chance. He planned this out. He knew what he was doing. You don’t want the village clown. save yourself YEARS OF MISERY. I've been married 49 years. Great marriage. my husbands stood by me when most men would leave ( decades of unmedicated bipolar!) we raised three kids, own our home, drive nice cars and I by ANYTHING I WANT. But if he cheated, I'd be gone!!!! somethings can't be fixed!you're in the hospital and he made a "mistake." what does that even mean? he was in the living room and some chicken breaks in and gets naked? He went on the hunt. The first one that said yes, was good enough. run don't walk!!

kick him to the curb, clearly he put his own needs first, move on.

rarely does life go on with cheating spouses. but it sure can if both wants it to happen. my own lasted 68 years before he passed.

try recovering from surgery.

Move on! I promise, this will not be his last time. I’ve been with my husband for 38 years and I’ve forgiven him multiple times for cheating. I will not do that again if it happens. Once forgiven, they will constantly think it will be okay. The last one took a lot away from me, however, I fell for his apology and his promise of not doing it again, which he told me last time. Without hesitation, I got my own bank account and turned things around in my favor. I suspect he won’t do it again, I do not believe him. I am now way stronger and he knows there’s a chance someone else will take me away from him. It’s early in your life, don’t waste your time on someone who doesn’t have enough respect for you to know his place.
