top 10 “dumbest” dog breeds? beagle in, husky out?!
Apparently there’s a ranking of the “least trainable” dog breeds, and the results are wild. Beagle’s on the list, but Husky didn’t even make it?? Whoever said that huskies are dumb clearly never owned a husky! Husky’s are extremely intelligent. Mine is an AKC registered championship blood line husky and she’s smarter than most people, lol! She tells us what she wants and when she wants it. Although she’s a little stubborn when she doesn’t get her way, she is overall one of the most well behaved dogs i’ve ever owned. Very obedient, loves to learn, loves to please, very comforting, very intuitive, loves playing with others, super friendly, and loves her water/table food. She is very well trained. She can sit, lay down, give paw, give other paw, and speak. She is also a service/emotional support animal. Love her to death!

We have a Beagle who has been taught to bark on command, roll over, fetch, shake, do a 180 jump, give hugs. The one thing he will not do is heal.

I Don’t believe any dog breeds are stupid. I believe some take more time. Just stupid lazy owners who don’t take the time or have the patience to teach them well enough.

Beagles are hunters there brain is led by their nose! They are very intelligent but are wired differently. Hounds the same but calmer. There is no IQ test for animals because different breeds rely on different senses. When your dog misbehaves just assume you’re the one that needs to change techniques.

had several bassets, all were responsive to basic commands (no, come, down, stay). they don't like to play fetch, though. My beagle mix was half Jack Russell. ADHD.

Bloodhounds are very intelligent. It’s obvious you have not owned or worked with a bloodhound. I’ve owned them for years, the best dogs for search and rescue also great family dogs.

Huskies aren't dumb. They require training, a lot of exercise and get bored and destructive easily if they don't receive either. Akitas are the same. I've had four- a Husky, a Malamute and two Akitas

Sorry i feel they all are as smart as what you put into them I have a smart Chihuahua she says her prayers before she eats she wants her faced washed every morning puts her paws up to sink. She give mommy good morning kisses every morning and night she trained herself to go potty on a pad when she can’t go outside. Loves to show her new outfits off to any man that comes around and loves her swim suite. Now that’s smart but I have taught her everything she knows but she doesn’t want to speak thinks she will have to wear the bark collar lol and she thinks she’s a great dame when it comes to protecting her mommy
