Student Loan Repayment Just Got Easier

I have never seen so many nasty people to college loan borrowers , maybe it’s jealousy because they got loans , went to school and got educated ? Idk but it’s awful and that’s why the world is the way it is, nasty people! Just wrong .we should have free education and free healthcare hands down. But no you Nancy’s and Harry’s will cry acting like it’s coming straight from your table or wallet smh

I don't feel like anyone who writes these articles about student loans even knows anything about them! They never talk about the amount that most people owe is mostly interest, not money they actually borrowed. It's the federal government making money! Is the bank doing you a favor when they loan money? No, they make millions! And so do the feds off student loans. We need better reporting!

then all people with credit card debt should have to abide by the same rules....if you own on credit cards, then you should have to have all those bills, aka loans, paid up to a balance of zero as well. If not, then you all should have your wages garnished, refunds taken, and your social security garnished as well.

This student loan thing is nothing but a racket. They tell you to get an education and give degrees with no job market. I think those loans should be discharged for those who can’t get a job for the degrees they’ve obtained. Social work. Can’t get a job. Art. Can’t get a job. Humanities can’t get a job. And all the other useless degrees you can’t use to land a job.

Ain’t no such thang as a free ride. Someone shoulda taught you that by now.

the thing about all this student loan debt is, the government took over federal education, then forced companies to look and hire people with degrees, then told everyone that the only way to get a good job was the college way. then the colleges jacked up tuition. which government didn't bat an eye at because anyone could get a federal student loan to cover the high cost. government didnt care because they passed a law saying student loan could not be canceled in bankruptcy. College for most people was and still is a money trap made by the government to put people into debt. No our constituents, sitting in office, raise our taxes, so they can appropriate our hard earned money to launder it into their own money. I have not read anywhere where any of these people or being made to start paying the people back. or Bing held accountable. but keep attacking the little people. for as Nancy Pelosi said, the crumbs.

Let these people pay off their debts. They went to college to have a better career. They will make more money, and some could qualify for scholarships. it's a debt they owe. Life is not a free ride.

This can't be true. I just read an article that Trump plans to do away with IDR and instead garnish wages, tax refunds and more from student loan borrowers. Something they haven't done in years.

tacking on the amount of interest makes it never ending. how about low interest?
