I just don't get it. You fork out a small fortune for a gigantic house, and then what? No yard to enjoy, no space for a BBQ with friends, just a vast lump of concrete! Where’s the logic? Isn’t part of having a home about enjoying some green space, maybe planting a garden or just having a patch of grass for the kids to play on? It blows my mind how these modern designs prioritize everything except outdoor space. Maybe it's all about that Instagram aesthetic now, but give me a good, old backyard any day!
