Is the middle class even a thing now?

OK, seriously - looking back at my work and lifestyle, I now feel like the "middle class" is a myth? I work my ass off at a 9-5, but every month feels like Survivor: Bill Edition. Mind you, I'm not talking about yachts or Ferraris, just... groceries, rent, the occasional night out, and I have to be careful not to max out my credit cards. It's crazy! I study hard, work hard, and still feel like I'm not getting anywhere. Is anyone else going crazy with this lifestyle? Or any scavenger hunt tips to solve this dilemma?
