Misdiagnosed Allergy Ruins a Life

I get that doctors are humans and stuff, but this was completely avoidable. Imagine being in your 20s, healthy as a horse, then something as mundane as an allergy test goes terribly wrong. My cousin went in for a simple skin prick test. Turns out, the doc misdiagnosed her as NOT allergic, when she actually was! Next thing you know, she's on her way to the ER with an anaphylactic reaction. The scariest part? She was minutes away from not making it. Now she's got to deal with a long list of meds and fears of going through that ever again. It's absurd and terrifying, and it makes you question if maybe you should just become a doctor yourself to avoid this BS.
