Pain Meds Denied: Caught in Opioid Crossfire? 💊

some day when your cleaning your garage or something like that and blow out your back you'll get a small sample of what people with chronic pain deal with daily it's scary even after a major surgery doctor today expect you to just suffer it shouldn't be like this 🙄🤔😩😭

i am also a victim of this crack down on doctors prescriptions for pain meds. i suffer every minute of everday with chronic pain from RA. i was on vicodin for several years, that enabled me to function somewhat and live a close to normal life. when trump threated doctors licenses if they dint cut people off i became a victim of a dangerous policy change enacted by an ignorant felon who is president. overdoses skyrocket due to this dangerous policy. people with chronic pain using opoids under a doctors care is safer than leaving them desperate for relief and turning to illict drugs. i personally know 3 people that are dead from taking this route. this policy has led to many deaths of people who just want some relief from constant pain.Removing doctors care for these people was the most cruel and dangerous policy i have ever experienced and imposed on the american public.

I am so sad I have to work part time my SSI is not enough to support myself.So I am in constant pain with my shoulder and back.I take oxycodone but there not working.73 yrs old and I had 18 surgeries and another one that's coming up in May for a total shoulder replacement.My Dr will not give me anything else for pain.I cry because I hurt so bad the Dr s don't seem to care.What to do 🤔.I think that they want older people to just die 😭

I have a medical marijuana referral and my doctor refuses to give me any type of pain management. My back is broken in three places and I have seven different diagnoses on it in addition.

It's ridiculous! They're continuing to punish pain patients when the majority of the overdoses are from illicit fentanyl and other street drugs yet they refuse to separate the numbers!! Smh! And I grew up in a town where everyone knows everyone and I've lost half the people I grew up with to overdoses from illicit drugs and not a single one started with a legitimately prescribed opioid!! 🤬 They ALL started drinking, smoking weed and then moved up to stronger street drugs! Stop blaming pain patients and leaving them to suffer when there's nothing else that helps the majority of us but prescription opioids! We aren't the problem! A very small amount of people abuse or get addicted to their meds, especially these days since they're nearly impossible to get!!

people who are in pain don't care if they become addicted to the meds. at least they are not in pain. condition's like mine were pain is constant and severe at times. meds are a must period

Dr's don't care about patients anymore , it's all about $$$$

We get just enough pain.Meds to keep us from jumping off a roof. and some days the pain is so bad.You want to jump anyway.
