I’m 48, divorced for 7 years, with a daughter still in high school. I met my boyfriend during a trip, and now we’re doing the long-distance thing. We usually see each other once a month, spending only two days together each time. And every time we have to say goodbye, I can’t help but cry. It’s just so hard. 😢 I really love him, but the distance is wearing me down. It’s the hardest part of the relationship. I’m finding it hard to stay strong when it feels like I’m losing time with him, and the waiting between visits feels endless. Does anyone have advice for handling the emotional rollercoaster?
