I am trying to raise my 13 year old granddaughter. She has been abandoned by both her parents. She has tried to commit suicide. She has been in counseling for 3 years. She struggles socially. She has ADHD. so schooling is also a struggle. I am on a fixed income,so there are times when I have to say No. prom dresses, heels, nails done, hair done. New clothes, nope, good will. sry so long. Ms Mavis, I'm the person that helps everyone out. I bought school clothes for my grand babies for years because their mama was having a tough time paying the bills as a single mom. I was in mgmt at work so I would counsel my help that needed advise or just someone to talk to .I'm the one who stops & gives homeless food or drinks when I have them. I've paid for the person in front of me at the grocery store who was short on cash to pay for everything. I paid whatever they were short to help them out. no I'm not rich. I never was rich. I just believe being good to people is the right thing to do. I've accepted a job that pays well below what I was makin b4 COVID and now I'm the one struggling needing help. I'm working a 2nd job cleaning houses on my day off to make extra cash. I'm losing my home (my dad's home for his last 35 years) to foreclosure because I'm behind on payments. I'll do anything I can to pay what I can. I don't know anyone who could help me..then I see your post..🙏😲
