Scheurwater’s Strike Zone Sparks Outrage

Cardinals fans are fuming after veteran ump Stu Scheurwater missed 19 calls—14 against the Redbirds—in their 4-1 loss to the Braves. The game was tight until late, but those missed calls shifted momentum big time. With the Umpire Auditor account tracking every blown call, the push for the automated strike zone is only getting louder. Is it time for MLB to finally make the switch, or do we accept human error as part of the game? Let’s hear your takes! #STLCards #Braves #MLB #UmpShow #AutomatedStrikeZone #Sports

If umpires make that many mistakes in a game they should be benched from any game. I have to agree with the automated strike zone but I still think there should be an umpire be behind the plate. I also agree with Dana

If they’re going with umpires and they make bad calls, they should be docked pay then they would start calling it right if they’re gonna lose money.

Set it up as a reviewable call. 3 challenges per inning. if call is changed, challenge is retained.
