Every day feels like a competition of exhaustion with my mom.

Every time I come home from work, my mom—who also worked late—kicks things off by talking about how tired she is. It's like she's stuck on repeat. But when I mention being tired, like from doing laundry or something, she turns it into a comparison. It's as if we're in some sort of contest to see who's more exhausted. She insists she's always the most tired. I've tried explaining that I'm not trying to compete with her, but it just turns into this endless loop.
