Darwin’s X-Men Death Makes No Sense 😱

Darwin’s death in X-Men: First Class still bugs me. His mutant power is literally to survive anything, but the writers killed him off in minutes with Shaw’s energy ball. It feels like they just didn’t know how to handle a character that OP, so they wrote him out instead. Fans have been debating this for years—was it lazy writing or just a way to raise the stakes?
