My husband and I are in the middle of a little driving debate. Maybe you all can help settle it! When you're walking across a marked crosswalk that connects a local street to a freeway entrance, who actually has the right of way — the pedestrian or the driver trying to get onto the freeway? 🚶‍♀️🚗 From what I understand, pedestrians usually have the right of way at marked crosswalks, even near freeway on-ramps. But with drivers eager to merge onto the freeway, it can definitely feel like you're invisible out there.
