My elderly mom wants me to pay €5,000 for a new car, while expecting less from my sisters. My brother earns €150k yearly, I make €100k, and my sisters €65k each. I live in Ireland with high taxes. I believe if she can afford it, fine; if not, keep her current car. I’m saving for a career change and dislike my job. She knows this.
