Insurance wants proof I'm dying before helping

United Healthcare DENIED my PET scan because I 'don't have enough evidence' of cancer. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Isn't the whole POINT of the scan to FIND the evidence?! What kind of twisted logic is this?! Do I need to be literally dying before they'll approve the test that might save my life?!
