why does my cat look like it’s in a food coma every nap?

Sometimes I catch my cat snoozing so deeply, I have to check if she’s still breathing! She’ll be sprawled out, belly up, not a care in the world. At first, it freaked me out. I thought something was wrong. But after a few years of being a cat parent, I’ve learned this is totally normal. Cats are pros at relaxing. They can sleep up to 16 hours a day, and when they feel safe, they really let loose. I always make sure she has a cozy spot and fresh water nearby. If your kitty sleeps hard, it probably means you’re doing something right! #CatLife #PetCare #SleepyKitty #FurFamily #Pets
