Sometimes I think about how my mom was juggling four kids at my age, and here I am, throwing a birthday bash for my cat. My mom even got him a gift! Wild, right? Taking care of pets is a whole different skill set. I’ve learned to read my cat’s moods, set up vet visits, and even mastered the art of sneaking medicine into treats. It’s not the same as raising kids, but it’s still a lot of love and responsibility. I’m proud of the little family I’ve built—even if it’s just me and my furry buddy.
