Massive Protest Over Women’s Rights Laws

Did you see what’s happening in Bangladesh? Over 20,000 people just rallied in Dhaka, furious about proposed changes to women’s rights—especially around property and inheritance. The Islamist group Hefazat-e-Islam says these reforms go against Sharia law and are pushing the government to scrap them ASAP. They’re even threatening more protests if their demands aren’t met.
