Struggling with Dressing Freedom at 27​

I’m 27, and I thought I’d have full freedom over my wardrobe choices by now. But my mom still insists on commenting on my outfits. She thinks some of the things I wear aren’t stylish or classy enough, calling them cheap. I genuinely like my style, but her constant criticism makes me question my fashion sense. Am I really that bad at picking clothes? Or is it just a generational gap in fashion preferences?
