is my long distance boyfriend acting shady or am i losing it

Hey everyone, I really need some advice. My boyfriend and I have been doing long distance for about a year now. Lately, things have felt super weird. He used to text me all the time, but now he takes hours to reply. Sometimes he just leaves me on read. He also started hanging out with this new girl from his college. He says they're just friends, but I can't help but feel uneasy. I tried talking to him about it, but he just says I'm overthinking. I want to trust him, but my gut is telling me something's off.
