So, I Tried to Convince My Mom to Let Me Get a Piercing 😅

Ever tried asking your mom for something you really want, like a piercing? Trust me, it’s like trying to negotiate world peace at the dinner table. I did my homework: researched every type of ear piercing, found the cleanest studio in town, and even asked my friends for their horror stories (and bragging rights). I practiced my speech in the mirror until I sounded like a lawyer. When the big moment came, I sat my mom down, listed my straight A’s, and showed her a PowerPoint (yes, really). She looked at me like I’d grown a second head. But I kept my cool, handed her the pamphlets, and even offered to pay for it myself. Did she say yes? Not yet. But hey, at least she didn’t ground me.
