Ever catch yourself constantly clearing your throat? 😅 Yeah, me too! It’s SO annoying—and sometimes, it’s more than just a habit. Here’s what I do to finally get some relief: • I sip water every time I feel the urge. Seriously, keeping a bottle handy is a game changer! • Warm drinks help melt away that postnasal drip. ☕️ • If water doesn’t work, I try a silent cough—just a deep breath and a gentle exhale (no actual coughing!). • Laughing, humming, or just chatting with someone distracts me and shakes things loose. 🙈 • I drink at least 6-8 glasses of water a day. Hydration = less irritation! • Cutting back on dairy made a HUGE difference for me. Less mucus, less throat clearing. • Gargling with salt water and using saline sprays are my go-tos when things get really bad. If nothing works after a few months, I check in with my doctor—sometimes there’s a bigger issue hiding behind the habit. Don’t ignore it if it won’t go away!
