Ever had a kid drop a wild fact and you’re just like... 😳🙈 That happened to me recently. A 6th grader I mentor told me Hitler targeted Jews for being "fake Jews." Yikes. I had to set the record straight, but it got me thinking—how are kids supposed to know what’s true anymore? Here’s what I’ve learned: • Kids are curious (and super impressionable!) • They get info from everywhere—books, YouTube, even parents • Schools don’t always teach real research or critical thinking • EVERYTHING gets politicized these days (even fact-checking!) I just want kids to know how to spot the truth from the noise. It’s not about politics—it’s about protecting them from misinformation. ❤️ I’m a single parent, crossing guard, and mentor. I see how much kids need these skills. So, how do we make sure they get them? Got any ideas? Drop them below! Let’s help our kids THINK for themselves! 🤔✨ #CriticalThinking #TeachTheTruth #KidsEducation #Education
