Remember when work was just a 9-to-5 thing? My wife, now the head nurse at our local hospital, used to come home in time for dinner. Lately, though, she’s out the door before sunrise and sometimes doesn’t get back until the kids are asleep. Weekends? She’s glued to her phone, handling emergencies that never seem to end. She’s constantly stressed, skipping meals, and the only real conversation we have is during our rushed morning commute. She keeps saying it’s because they’re understaffed and she has to train new hires while covering for others. Is this what leadership is supposed to look like, or is it just a fast track to burnout? Honestly, I’m worried about her—and about us. Has anyone else felt like their partner’s job is taking over their life? How do you deal when work never seems to clock out? Any advice would really help. 🙏 #WorkLifeBalance #CareerStress #RelationshipAdvice #JobCareer
