Why Do I Worry About My Wiper Speed in the Rain?

Every time it pours and I crank my windshield wipers up, I catch myself glancing at other cars. If their wipers are slower, I suddenly feel silly, like I’m overreacting to the rain. I’ll even turn mine down just to blend in, even if I can’t see as well! It’s funny how we let small things make us self-conscious, even when nobody else notices.
