If you're like me and want to get better at reading, here's what worked: • Figure out WHY you're reading—Is it for fun, info, or learning something new? Purpose matters! • Scan the text first. Check titles, sections, and bold words. It helps me get the gist before diving in. • For vocab or grammar, I read slowly and out loud. It’s awkward at first, but it really works! 😅 • Guess new words from context before running to the dictionary. Sometimes I surprise myself! • Take notes and highlight key stuff. I love using bullet points or doodles in the margins. • Read with a friend or talk about what you read. Makes it less lonely and way more fun. • Pick stuff I actually like! If I’m bored, I’ll never finish it. Honestly, reading a little every day (even just 15 mins) made a HUGE difference for me.
