Three-Eyed Sea Moth Fossil Is Wild

Did you know paleontologists just found a 506-million-year-old sea predator with three eyes and a tail full of gills? The Mosura fentoni fossil, discovered in Canada’s Burgess Shale, is so well-preserved you can see its nerves and blood vessels! Even crazier, its tail looks like something out of a modern insect or horseshoe crab. Turns out, ancient sea bugs were way more diverse and weird than we thought.
