Is Only My Sister the Family Favorite,🤔

Sometimes I wonder if my parents even notice me. Last week, my little sister got to go to the movies with her friends, while I was told to stay home and finish my homework—again. I tried to talk to my parents about it, but they just said, "She needs a break, she's younger." But don't I need a break too? It's tough not to feel invisible when every little thing she does is celebrated, and I get in trouble for things she did first. I try to keep my cool, but it's hard not to feel hurt. I even started writing in my journal just to get the frustration out. Have you ever felt like the odd one out in your own family? How did you deal with it?
