My mom is a bobblehead 🤔

Every time I ask my mom if I can go out with friends, it feels like I'm preparing for a presidential debate. I lay out my plan, explain how safe it is, and promise to be home on time, but she still hesitates. I mean, is wanting to see a movie or go to a party really that wild? I've tried everything—helping around the house, getting my homework done, even cooking breakfast for the family.
