Why Do Men Stay Silent When They Need Help?

I think most of us carry this quiet fear that we’re not lovable just as we are. So instead, we chase being needed, hoping that will be enough. Sometimes I wonder if deep down, we’re afraid that if we can’t be useful anymore, we’ll be tossed aside—just like I did with my old pliers.
