So, my boyfriend (21M) and I (20F) have been dating for a few months, and things were going well... until a plastic bag nearly ended us. We went grocery shopping, and I forgot to pay for a 30p bag. He got so mad, made me carry it through town, and even called me a thief—loud enough for everyone to hear! I was mortified, especially since I used to work at that store. Later, he kept bringing up the bag, totally ignoring how humiliated I felt. He said it was about the principle, not the money, but I just felt belittled. He even walked home at 3am after we argued!
