why did my roses try to escape onto the sidewalk and how did i save them?

Last summer, my roses started leaning over like they were trying to greet the neighbors. I’d walk outside and see petals scattered all over the sidewalk. Not the look I was going for. So, I grabbed some bamboo stakes and soft ties, gently looping the stems back toward the garden bed. It was like giving them a gentle nudge to stay in their lane. The roses perked up, and suddenly, my walkway was clear and my blooms looked so much happier.
