I was watering my porch plants when I spotted a little bird zipping in and out of my fern. Turns out, she built a whole nest right in the middle of the leaves! I couldn’t believe it. I always leave my ferns a bit wild and only trim the dead fronds, so maybe that made it cozy for her. Now, I’m extra careful with watering—just a gentle sprinkle around the edges. I also keep the fern in a quiet spot, away from too much foot traffic. It’s wild how a bit of patience and not fussing too much can turn your plants into a mini wildlife haven.
