How I Learned to Say No (Without Guilt!)

Saying no to a friend used to stress me out 🙈. But I realized I don’t have to feel guilty for setting boundaries. Here’s what’s helped me: • I keep it KIND but FIRM. No more one-word answers, but I also don’t over-explain. • I’m CLEAR—no more "maybe" or "let me check." If it’s a no, I say it! • I try to offer an alternative if I can, like hanging out another time ❤️. • I only apologize ONCE (if at all). No more endless “I’m sorry!” • If someone keeps pushing, I repeat myself or just walk away. My peace matters! • I remind myself: Saying no doesn’t make me a bad friend. It means I respect myself AND my friendships. Honestly, it feels SO much better to be upfront. Real friends get it—and if they don’t, that’s on them, not me. 😅 Anyone else struggle with this?
