I used to think growing broccoli and cauliflower here was impossible. Every season, I’d get leggy plants and sad, tiny heads. Turns out, timing is everything in this heat. I started my seeds indoors way earlier than I thought I should—like, in late summer. By the time they went outside, the weather was just cool enough for them to take off. I also learned to give them afternoon shade and kept the soil super moist. Mulch helped a ton with that. Suddenly, my plants weren’t bolting or getting eaten alive by bugs. Now, I’m harvesting big, healthy heads and feeling like a total garden boss. Never thought I’d get here, but patience and a little trial and error made all the difference. gardening #brassicas #zone10b #growyourown #urbanfarming #gardening #brassicas #zone10b #growyourown #urbanfarming
